As a UX-UI designer, I create mobile applications and websites that help solve Real-world UX problems. I have skills in prototyping, wireframing, and responsive design using the software Figma. Throughout my UX/UI design projects, I've created a variety of interfaces including Mobile app UI design, Web design projects, and Responsive UI design. Each project I’ve worked on has addressed a specific need or challenge. These experiences I gained as a UX/UI designer have strengthened my ability to research, ideate, test, and refine designs with a purpose.
One of the UX UI design projects I worked on as a UX/UI designer was a Mobile app UI design that helps mothers who struggle to remember the ingredients of the meal they plan to cook. To fix this problem, I added key features in order to solve these problems. I integrated an image scanner to scan all products available at home so the app can track its availability, its amount, and expiration date. Second, I created a checklist that appears once the user selects a meal they want to cook. This checklist checks for missing ingredients ,and if any are unavailable, the app either provides ingredient substitution suggestions or offers an option to purchase the missing items directly through the app. This meal planning UX case study highlights how user-friendly UI and usability features can solve real-life user frustrations and improve the cooking experience.
Another project I worked on was a task organizer App that helps students organize their tasks. In order to help students with procrastination, I created a section in which i added incentives such as a progress bar that offers a rewards after the student completes their task, As a UX/UI designer, this was an important feature to add as it will reduce the amount of stress, and increase their moral to actually work on the task. This Mobile App Design also includes the student’s upcoming task in their dashboard , so they can keep track of all the things they should start with. The students also have the option to add a reminder to a specific task they want to add to the list. These alerts and reminders are necessary for users in order to avoid missing any upcoming tasks.
My skills as a UX/UI designer vary between solving a UX problem and creating a user interface that grabs the attention of the user, and provides a service that helps achieve the user’s goal. Throughout my UX/UI design process, I always focus on creating user-Centered Designs that help solve real life problems that users frequently encounter. This helps establish a connection between the user and the digital product, ensuring that every interaction will be in the favor of the user. Moreover, in order to ensure that the mobile app UI or service I deliver satisfies the user, I go through the design thinking process. This process starts with user research; I first identify my target audience, understand their needs and pain points, I then start to suggest UX design solutions to reduce frustrations and achieve their goals. After that, I begin with the creation of wireframing, providing interactive prototypes for business owners to test and ensure good usability. As a UX/UI designer, I ensure the final product is both functional and user-friendly through usability testing and iteration, resulting in a seamless digital experience.
